Conditions applying to all packages which
you must agree with before using Catman 247 services!
Catman 247 conditions whilst using services need you to read and agree to them
1-All cat food and cat litter is provided by the customer (you) and an additional charge will be required to be paid by you should the supplies of either run out during the period of the package.
2-Your cat’s health and well being are paramount. In the rare event that your cat becomes unwell while you are away, you will be contacted and informed of what the issue is and asked what you want done. This will always be the preferred course of action but a contingency plan needs to be available if it is not possible to make contact with you and that is when section 3 becomes relevant and you need to consider it and be willing to accept this course of action.There is no additional charge made by Catman 247 whilst assisting you.
3-If I cannot make contact with you and I decide the cat requires immediate attention, then it will be taken to the Vet previously nominated by you. The Vet details you provided on my initial visit will be the preferred one that is used. I will always, in the first instance, send a text message to you and follow this up with a telephone call later to fully update you but it must be understood and agreed by you that having failed to speak with you and having sent you a text message that I have your authority to take the cat to your Vet to get it emergency treatment.
If your own Vet is not available then you are also authorising me to use the services of another Vet and that you will meet in full the Veterinary bills that arise from the treatment to your cat regardless of which Vet is used.
Factors that could make your Vet unavailable could be time of day or day of the week, such as a Sunday, which is a day most Veterinary practices are closed.
This may then require the services of an emergency Vet, such as E Vets (click here to see E Vet services) who are open out with normal Vet practice hours. This course of action needs to be acceptable to you if you want to use Catman 247 to look after your cat.
Please do not use my services if you do not agree to section 3, as I am not prepared to put myself into a situation whereby I have doubts as to what you would want done and need to hold off getting the animal treatment. My assurance to you is that as a cat lover, I will always put the welfare of your cat first and will not invoke this option without giving due consideration to all known circumstances and options available.
4-The service packages are geared towards house cats, however if your cat has access to your home and outside via cat flap and is permitted to roam, no responsibility whatsoever will be accepted for the cat but all care will be taken to ensure that its routine is not interfered with and when possible a visual check of it will be carried out and your instructions followed regarding it coming and going.
5-Any emergency situation such as water leaks, power failures or criminal damage to your property will be dealt with at the time, to minimise the damage. All call out costs (Joiner, Plumber) will be met by you. You will be apprised as soon as possible as to what has taken place and your instructions will be carried out. Criminal damage, such as vandalism to a window or Attempted Housebreaking or Housebreaking will result in the Police being informed and the premises re-secured. All work, such as Joiners or Plumbers, to achieve this will be billed directly to you by the company involved! There is no additional charge made to you by Catman 247 whilst assisting you.
